I have no problem admitting I was fascinated by the balloon boy saga. Like others, I begin to have some doubts about the story early on when things didnt add up. Im glad to see that the investigation has apparently determined the truth.
I didn't catch any part of the balloon story while it was happening, just read about it after the fact. It sounded suspect to me from the beginning and I was really glad to hear that they seem to have figured out that it was a hoax.
I saw the video of the baby stroller falling onto the train tracks and, even knowing that the baby came out of it okay, it still just horrified me to watch the stroller roll away from the mom and her almost get hit by the train trying to catch it. My husband said "that's what strollers have brakes for!" but I can't think how often I've had a child or grandchild in a stroller and just let go of the handle for one brief second, not thinking that there was any reason to put on the brake. Scary, but I was so glad the baby came out okay!
