Post Offer Pre-employment Testing

Do any of you utilize post offer pre-employment testing, such as WorkSteps? If so, how has your company benefited, what are the drawbacks? If not, what is your reasoning behind not doing the testing? I would love to hear any and all thoughts on this topic.

Of course we do. I am not sure why people wont post. Are they shy? They certainly can't be intimidated by our wisdom.

Not shy.. we just don't do it and had never heard of Worksteps. .not much help.

Same here...I've never heard of WorkSteps. A few times in my career in HR I've asked about the idea of that sort of testing but the powers that be weren't particularly crazy about the idea so I've never pursued it any further.
