Commission / Bonus for Sales Manager

We are a small and belive it or not, growing manufacturing company. We are looking for a Sales Manager who will be overseeing 2 rep managers, 2 estimators and the sales/service help desk technician. We are looking for someone who can pull this team together, have budgeting and stategic planning experience, ensure that we are meeting our standards with our reps and customers etc. We sell through independent reps through out the country and Canada.
We have been told that our salary may be on the low end and that it is better if we have extra incentives like commissions or a stated bonus plan etc.
If any one could share what the performance measures for their bonus plan or what type of commission scale they pay - I would greatly appreciate it.
