Started this at Celeste's suggestion. What have you seen that has made you look twice and go "What the...?"


My favorite would be the girls in line at the grocery store with hair, nails and make-up nicely done, but wearing a wrinkled t-shirt, sleep pants and house shoes

I'll have to go with the women who wear low cut pants with short shirts. If you aren't in a music video, this just isn't a good look.

PS Joannie-- so can I wear my wrinkled t-shirt and sleep pants if I don't have my hair, nails, or make-up done?

I read today that a city in China is beefing up its dress code. It is asking employees not to wear bright colors or unnatural hair styles. You would never get away with that here in the States.

My pet peeve is tank tops. I saw a commercial on TV one evening last week that showed a woman wearing a tank top and riding a bicycle - the wind blowing strongly beneath her wings, that happened to be floating in the face of the guy sitting behind her on the bike. Made me cringe.

Extremely low-cut pants on women, with visible thongs, rear cleavage, or rolls of flesh spilling over has always bothered me, as well as guys wearing their pants so big that the whole rear of their boxers shows and the only reason they haven't fallen off completely is because their....ummm...frontal anatomy is holding them up!

Completely and totally agree with the supportive bra comment, Joannie! There are a few here, not necessarily well-endowed, that I would like to introduce to underwire and a thicker material.

cnghr you have also read my mind! In what universe is muffin top attractive?! What about layered shirts that are still all so tight you can see the rolls and the belly button?

I saw a high school-age boy bending over in his trunk the other day and almost said, "Nice crack."

In my neighborhood there are two schools I pass each day on the way to work. It is too funny watching the children who are late as they run down the street trying to hold their pants up! Who wants to put that much effort into what should be a simple task...walking? :-/

I've seen it a dozen times on "Cops", but I still laugh my head off every time someone's pants fall down while he's running away from a traffic stop. I don't care how many donuts that cop just ate... if your pants are around your ankles, he's going to catch you pretty quickly.

There is an attempt being made to pass legislation in Tennessee much like the legislation passed by the town near Frank. Is this Big Brother or justifiable? We regulate how people dress for work, should the government be able to regulate how people dress at other times?

Punishment:
First citation: $200 fine and 40 hours of community service work.

Third: $750 and 120 hours.
Fourth and subsequent citations: $1,000 and 160 hours.
