I can't see!

Within the past couple of days the type size on this Forum has gotten smaller for me. I changed the size in Internet Explorer to "largest" but the size doesn't change in this Forum. Is there any way to change the type size here? I can barely see the words. Thanks.

We can change the type size when typing a message. It's easy, but relies on everyone who types a message to do so. Let's do a little test to find out what would be an acceptable size for everyone's viewing comfort. Let me know what is the smallest size below that you can comfortably read.

The font is really too small, but how do we change it? Perhaps this should be on the wish list thread so that the default font is readable to those of use with older eyes.

I haven't been able to find any way to change the font size other than for individual messages. Nothing on the User CP (User COntrol Panel) that let's you set a default font size.

I'll talk to IT and see if they have any suggestions and let you know.

Not sure why the font shrank, but Andrew is checking on it and will fix it. In the meantime, he says that if you type "Control +" (control plus-sign), the message you're looking at will get a little bigger. Hope this helps. tk

Ok, here's the scoop from IT. Hold down the control key while hitting the + or - key to increase or decrease the web page overall.

Do you have a window below the message window you type into that is for additional options? If you do, it has a button for managing attachments.

Now this is sad. I found a box labeled 'Additional Options' that includes 'Manage Attachments.' It also has possible icons to post, but I don't see anything about fonts, underlining, bold, etc.

I tried to copy and paste what is showing, but it told me I was using too many images. The grey window below this purplish one that I am typing in says options, but the only thing there is a check box with ""Quote message in reply? Next thing down is a button that says Post Quick Reply and one that say Go Advanced. OK, when I hit the Go Advanced, I get all kinds of good stuff, including the elusive paper clip. Have you guys developed a "Remedial Forum Use" course yet?:)

So you normally use quick reply? That explains it. I generally use reply and it shows both rows.
