March Madness

Memphis is a big college sports town; possibly because our professional teams don't give us much to cheer about. My co-workers have their brackets printed out and the pool sheets have all been filled in. Is anyone rooting for a particular team? Who do you see taking it all the way? Favorite longshot?

The feeling here is that the Tigers will choke, as usual. But we sure are thrilled to watch them until they do!

I appreciate March Madness as a spectacle but I dont follow college basketball closely enough to have any idea who to pick for a bracket. I do believe that Portland State is in the first round and Gonzaga (from Spokane) usually does well.

Alot has been made about the time wasted during work hours on March Madness, brackets, pools, discussions, etc.

Now the NCAA is making EVERY game available to watch online. So much for productivity...

But there is one good thing about the new forum. It has autocensor. So now instead of figuring out characters to replace letters in naught words, you can just type the naughty word and it automatically replaces it with asteriks.

Neither was Memphis State, oops, University of Memphis. I would love to see them win. Last year was such a letdown for those kids. But someone has to lose
