WHERE'S IT 'AT'?

Maybe I'm the only one who has this problem. Is there a possibility that along with the alert we get that someone has posted a response to a thread of interest, could the notification also include the 'broad general area' where the thread is posted? e.g. sometimes I will get a message of a response being posted to something several days old. Often, we (at least I do) forget which subject area the thread is in and we have to go searching to find the new post. Today's example: I got a notice that there's a new response posted to "NEEDED: Translator(s). I looked through several subject areas and didn't find it. But, when I came here to post this request, there it was. Otherwise, never would have found it. Sometimes the titles of the post do not indicate remotely which subject area they can be found in. If a post is originally listed in FMLA and is titled, "What to Do?", who would remember to look there?

Hmmm, it's been so long since I used that option. Let me test it out on this message to see what the e-mail says. Does it not have a link to the message in the e-mail?

I tested it to see what the e-mail notification says, and you are right, it doesn't say which section the post is in. It does have a link directly to the thread, though, that you can click on or copy and paste into your web browser. I'll check with my programming guru here to see if he might be able to add the section information to the e-mail. That would make it more helpful!
