Reviewing a reply before posting it

Generally I will review my reply before actually posting it, by clicking on the preview icon. However, I don't find it possible to review my reply and also scroll up to the original posting to be sure I have responded accordingly. With some of the lengthy problems posted, it's almost necessary to print them out to be sure we are covering everything we intended to in the response. Posting, then editing, therefore becomes necessary unless I missed something.

  • Try clicking the "Reply with Quote" link (next to the "Reply" link) when you reply to someone. Then you can see the post you are replying to while typing your response. If you don't want to leave the quote in your message, you can delete it before posting your reply.
