London Broil

This can also be grilled.

1 tablespoon butter (I added a little more)
2 medium onions, sliced thin
1/4 tsp salt
2 tablespoons salad oil
1 tsp lemon juice
2 garlic cloves, crushed
1/4 tsp salt
2 lb flank steak, scored

Melt butter in skillet. Cook and stir onions & 1/4 tsp salt until tender. Keep warm over low heat.

Stir together remaining ingredients; brush on top side of meat. Broil meat 2-3 inches from heat about 5 minutes or until brown. Turn meat; brush with oil mixture and broil 5 minutes longer.

Cut meat across the grain at a slant into very thin slices. Serve with onions.
