String Bean Caserole

Per San Francisco's request, here's my favorite.

2 cans French-style green beans, drained
1 can water chestnuts, sliced (opt)
1 can cream of mushroom soup
1 tsp. soy sauce
1 can French fried onions

Place half the beans and water chestnuts in a 2-quart casserole. Pour soy soyce into soup and stir. Then pour half soup into casserole. Repeat layers. Bake at 325-350 degrees for 25 minutes or until mixture is thoroughly heated. Top with onions during last 5 minutes of baking. Yiels: 8-10 servings.
