Driftwood Pie

The friend who gave me this recipe years ago told me it is the recipe used by the Driftwood Restaurant here in Florida. Don't know where the restaurant is in Florida, or if this recipe really comes from there, but this pie is really, really good.
2 eggs, beaten
1 cup sugar
2 T. cocoa
1 tsp. vanilla
1 stick butter or margarine
Combine the eggs and sugar. Melt butter; add cocoa. Combine with eggs and sugar. Add vanilla. Pour into 9" pie shell. Bake at 350 for 30 minutes. Serve warm. Is good with vanilla ice cream on top.
