Strawberry Spinach Salad

1 # fresh spinach, washed & drained
1 pt. fresh strawberries, sliced
1/2 C. chopped pecans (lighty browned in 1 tbsp. butter for 10 minutes in 350 degree oven)

Dressing: Combine 1/3 C. red wine vinegar, 1/2 C. sugar, 1/2 tsp. salt, 1 tsp dry mustard, 1 tbsp. instant minced onions and 1/2 C. vegetable oil in a tight lidded jar. Shake well. Add 1 tbsp. poppy seeds to dressing when ready to serve. Serve immediately after putting on the dressing.

I brought this to a bridal shower last Sunday and everyone wanted the recipe. Enjoy!
