Shrimp Appetizer

Del's Shrimp in White Wine
1/2 lb. fresh shrimp
5 cloves minced garlic
1/2 cup white wine or beer
A pinch of salt
3 tbps olive oil
A dash of red pepper (optional)
A tbp of lemon (optional)
3 sliver of lemon
5 springs of chopped parsley or cilantro
Saute garlic in olive oil(medium heat).
When garlic starts turning golden color, add shrimp.
Add salt, red pepper, lemon juice and lemon slivers.
Shake pan occasionally (or use turner) to allow shrimp to cook both sides.
When shrimp turns pink, add wine and then parsley. Let it simmer for 1-2 minutes. Do not overcook.
Serve with freshly baked French bread, with your favorite drink in the company of friends and loved ones.
