French Meat Pie

This recipe came from my husband's meme. I've had people from Canda tell me this is the best they've ever had.
1 lb hamburg
1 lb ground pork
1 onion minced
1 box uneeda crackers
salt and pepper
1/2 tp 1 rsp Bells or other poultry seasoning
1/4 to 1/2 tsp allspice
2 cups chicken broth
cook hamburg, pork and onion until beef and pork are no longer pink and drain. Put back in pan and cover with chicken broth and spices, bring to a boil, then simmer one hour. Stir, add an additional pinch of Bells. Remove from heat. Crumble crackers-I put in a ziploc bag and use a rolling pin. COmbine cracekrs and meat mixture. Refrigerate overnight to let flavors blend.
Line 9" pie pan with crust, add filling, cover with top pie crust, bake in a preheated 375 degree oven for 1 hour or until crust in light brown.
