What are your mottoes?

Ok, all you hardened HR professionals. What is your motto? Your hard-earned, battle scarred truisms that help you get through the day.
A few of mine are:
"Don't work harder than the person whose problems you are trying to help."
"Its better to have a hard job with good people than a good job with hard people".
"Mentor immaturity, punish disobedience"
"Always accept a resignation."
"There is more to the story..."
"Everyone deserves special treatment."
I cant claim to have come up with these myself but they have stuck with me.

"A Closed Mouth Gathers No Foot!"
Guess I should listen to him more....
Edit : Another plaque says, "Don't make me get the flying monkeys". The Wicked Witch. My ee's know what that means!
I like trying to work in "We need more monkeys." to conversations. It is extremely rare when you can make it work contextually.
I am also officially adding a new motto "Don't work for a family owned organization".
Modify your new slogan and add the word 'Dysfunctional'...

Not a very sweet sentiment or motto, but that's the way it's been around here all this year. Judging by the supervisors and managers I've been talking to lately, I could probably sell the things to every one of them, also!
Go figure.
(To the gossipers with NO accurate information)
his, his and the truth......
"Life should NOT be a journey to the grave
with the intention of arriving safely in an attractive and well preserved body,
but rather to skid in sideways,
Champagne in one hand - strawberries in the other,
body thoroughly used up, totally worn out and screaming
WOO HOO – What a Ride!"
"I want to die young, as late in life as possible."
"One of the hardest things we do as HR Managers is train herds of cattle to enter the pasture from a gate different from the one they've used for 15 years."
Happy Thanksgiving, everyone!

When asked how he wants to go, my father has a variation on this one...
He says "I want to be the oldest man ever shot by a jealous boyfriend."
My stepmother is not amused by this credo.
