So in my reseach to find out which brand of shampoo advertised that it used beer in its product, I found this. I still think the brand was V05, Frank, but I'll keep looking...

Alberto V05 Conditioning Hairdressing is one of the most popular hair conditioners of its kind. This product, which has been around since the 1950s, was invented by a chemist with the last name of Alberto. It's kind of funny that no one at the company can remember Alberto's first name. Oh well, such is the life of a chemist.
Many of us have used V05 hairdressing over the years, but have no idea that there are many other uses for this much loved hair gel. I don't know how these unique uses for V05 Conditionaing Hairdressing came to be, but you can be sure to get more for your money now that you know its hidden secrets.
Keep Silver from Tarnishing ? With a soft cloth, rub a thin layer of V05 Conditioning Hairdressing on anything silver that you want to prevent from tarnishing: silver tea sets, candlesticks, picture frames, etc. Wipe off the excess, leaving a thin, protective coating behind.
Get That Ring Stuck on Your Finger Off ? Put a little V05 Hairdressing on your finger and lift your hand up high for a minute or so (this reduces the blood flow in your hand). The ring should come off now.
Sticky Zippers ? Apply some V05 Hairdressing on those zipper teeth to help that zipper glide smoothly.
Keep Leather Soft ? V05 Hairdressing is a great substitute for mink oil.

While shopping in a food store, two nuns happened to pass by the beer, wine, and liquor section. One asked the other if she would like a beer. The second nun answered that, indeed, it would be very nice to have one, but that she would feel uncomfortable about purchasing it. The first nun replied that she would handle that without a problem.
She picked up a six-pack and took it to the cashier. The cashier had a surprised look, so the nun said, 'This is for washing our hair.' Without blinking an eye, the cashier reached under the counter and put a package of pretzel sticks in the bag with the beer. 'The curlers are on me.'
