Take Your Daughter to Work Day April 24th

Mark your calendar. My oldest daughter is 12 and I think it will be fun for her to come to work with me this year.

She knows what I do and has participated in staff events before. She also went on a week long recruiting trip with me.

When she was little someone asked her what her dad did as a job and she said "Make people cry."

I've never had a daughter to take to work, but maybe I should borrow one of my granddaughters. I'll bet the 3-year-old could really liven up the office!

I guess its technically called "Take your Daughters and SONS to Work Day".

I'd bring my son, but he's got his own job to go to, so I guess I'll have to miss the fun for yet another year.

My oldest is 12. I brought her a copy of the Oregon state restrictions for hiring minors yesterday. She is looking forward to working part time when she turns 14.
