That reminds me of an old sermone I heard once using the word "Evil"

(read the following in a loud outrageous Southern Baptist fire breathing preacher voice)

Brothers and sisters, consider for a moment the word "Evil". You take away the E and you have VIL! Sin is VILE in the eyes of a wrathful God! Can I get a witness?

And if you take away the V you have IL. That's right! Sin will make you ILL! The good book says the wages of sin is death! Hallelujah!

AND finally, if you take away the I you have L. And thats where you are a-going! Straight to L if you don't know Jesus! AMEN!

I am sure The Music Man would have had altered words for Trouble in River City if they had known Paul. They just didn't know him or how he likes to stir the pot.

My brothers never let me watch Hee Haw. They thought it was stupid. They also wouldn't let me watch Little House on the Prairie. That was back in the days of just one TV per household.

Whippersnappers nowadays can just go find another TV to watch their shows.

Hee Haw was a weekly country comedy show in the 70's starring Roy Clark, Grandpa Jones and others. It was pretty corny. Not sure how long it ran.
