I believe the next 12 months are the most important of GWB's presidency. He should no longer be a political target of the Dem's (surely they can move on), his own party will not rely on him to get someone elected, and hopefully he can devote his time and energy to doing the right things for our country. No need to pander or conjol, just govern and lead. It will be a significant, if not career defining, period in his presidency. Whether he is up to the task is yet to be seen.
