"The notions of good and evil are relative things."

Of course. It all depends upon your belief system and how you see good and evil. Some things are easy for us all to identify (based upon biblical clues), but most are not so black and white.

Give us something else to debate/chew on.

Well, the quote belongs to Alexander Pichushkin who was sentenced today in Russia for murdering almost 60 people.

It was part of his final statement.

It is definitely relative to him. I am sure he will come to a clearer understanding in the near future.

I just thought it was interesting that he made a statement that I think many people would probably agree with but have probably never thought hard enough about what such a statement really means.

I could imagine such a statement being made in just about any college social studies class.

I have relatives who are good, and some who are evil, so I would definitely agree.
