Have you ever had a moment of word vomit? Did I really just say that?
Here I am on an advisory panel... for helping people of hearing loss gain knowledge and employment....
and I use the term "fall on deaf ears"!!!!!

Did I really just say that??? How do I take that back! Doh! Just wanted to hide under the table!

I was annoyed once at my husband's poor sportsmanship at a ball game. I said something to the person next to me and she agreed. I ended up by saying, "I just wasn't raised that way." I was speaking to his mother. x:o I didn't even realize it. She brought it up to me later and I was able to profusely apologize.

I think we all sometimes catch 'foot in mouth' disease.
