Posting under ADA topic

Since most of us don't seem to spend a lot of time looking at the other less important Topic areas, I would invite each of you to respond to my post under ADA. It is intended to be an educational tool and if we do really well we get a new catalog from JJ..... oops forget I said that..

This has proven to be quite a successful thread, confirming that only the best HR professionals post to this site. Not one single ADA issue has been brought, so everyone must know exactly how to comply with the regs!! I'm just proud to know ya'll (that's for you okie joannie)!
And since this is number 300, it's good that it was a sincere, meaningful, insightful, professional post.......

Way to go, Steaks! Congrats on 300. I wouldn't say we are all ADA experts, I think we are probably just lucky.

I think many people might be shy about sharing their ADA misadventures because they could look foolish.

One thing I have noticed about HR people is they are very insecure.

That's all right, we haven't had any either but thought other companies' stumbles could prevent my own. It was still a good exercise although, like Paul's he man thread, fruitless.

We haven't had any ADA issues either. Of course, 70% of our ee's having to meet Federal Motor Carrier Safety Admininstration physical guidelines makes it a little simpler. Had you been asking about EEOC................
