Lefties all know that we are the only ones in our right minds, much more creative and at the same time, sensitive and caring, not to mention highly intelligent. So take advantage Lefties, we only get one day and the other 364 we have to deal with the you-know-who's.....

Thanks for all the positive responses inspite of my date error. We had a giant gather at our local Hyatt Regency after work, attended by hundreds of this openly persecuted minority group. Well, okay, we don't have Hyatt, in fact we don't have a building large enough to hold hundreds. Actually there was no gathering, I just had a couple beers at home; guess everyone else met July 13th.
But the date was duly noted on this high visibility HR thread, so the day received its due; such as it is.

I've got to put it in my computer calendar for next year because I believe there should be at least a full week leading up to Lefties Day for adulation and praise of this talented yet unappreciated minority group. Other lefties, let's help each other remember early next year!!!
And of course you will need to remind me that it's August, not July. And that I called myself (but not you) a duffus. Rita and Joanne will remember that part for me......
