Have any of you, or are any of you referred to as "Chief People Officer". I have seen this phrase used several times lately and wonder if this is the trend.

Back in the good old days there was "Labor Relations" for unionized plants, and "Employee Relations" for nonunionized. I suppose "People Officer" is an attempt to evolve, but it doesn't roll off the tongue very well.
hmmmmmm
Chief Parole Officer. Uncanny accuracy.
This week, I'm pretty sure people are referring to me as "that irritable hag." I plan on bringing in homemade banana muffins tomorrow to make up for it.
I'll bring in extras for you guys, to make up for my hagginess of this week. x:-)
By the way, my AstroSlam for today says;
"If the shackles of your current life seem to dig into your wrists and ankles, they are. Behave poorly and act like an ass: Your escape will work swimmingly."
I'm trying to ditch my Irritable Hag rep this week, so I'll skip the "act like an ass" advice.
For some reason, to me "Chief People Officer" sounds too much in the vein of "Chief Sitting Duck" or "Chief Needa Vacation."
Must be time to watch Dances With Wolves...been a few years and I must be aching for some entertaining monikers.
That's right. I'm the head......
