Bizarre!

Early this month I made and shipped my usual batch of goodies to my mom. Usually there is a present in the box too, but this year I visited in November so I brought her gift with me. When the sealed box left my house it had goodies and nothing else in it.

The box seemed to take forever to arrive and I was worried about the quality of the goodies when they got there. No problem. When she finally got them and opened the box she didn't find goodies. She found 2 small Christmas rugs.

Now that is what I call bizarre!

But the big questions is.... where did the batch of goodies to mom end up????
Does this have anything to do with a Big Bad Wolf? Sorry, that was a basket of goodies and a red hood not rug. My mistake, must be to early for the eggnog.

This is weird. Was it in the same box? Was the box still sealed.

Yes, the box was sealed. She knew I was sending her goodies so when something else came out she assumed we had mixed up our shipments. She double checked the return label and it was ours.

I did send out a lot of boxes with presents and goodies, but none had any rugs. The more I think about it, the more I seem to remember this happening about 15 years ago. She lives in a very small town and the guy at her post office is a little strange. It does make you wonder...
