Don't you hate it when the spouse of an employee calls you and gives you the third degree about something you have no control over? xx(

I just spent 30 minutes on the phone with the world's most unpleasant woman, I was called every name in the book (some unrepeatable on this forum), and all I could do is sit there and say, "I'm sorry you feel that way, ma'am. I really cannot do anything for you."

I love it when people who work in the medical field automatically think they know more about health insurance than you do. 8-|

That's happened a few times to us, too. One time the wife of one our ee's called about health insurance and really ripped into the Personnel Specialist. She was nearly in tears. Well, the next day the ee comes to my office asking if was going to be fired for his wife's actions. He wasn't. I just made sure he understood the situation, which he did.

I once had an employee's mother call me. That was an interesting conversation. The employee was mortified the next day. She still avoids me in the hall.
I wish more would avoid me in the hall. Just kidding!!
