Just need to vent!

My performance appraisal went pretty well overall. But I can't help but whine about all the petty little supervisors who hate me because their new hires can't start before the drug tests come in. Let alone the background checks.

I've avoided these observations to the president up until now feeling he has better things to do. Apparently a couple of the people that I've bailed out of touchy situations over and over again have no such compunctions.

I love my job, but I HATE the politics! Aaaargh!

Thanks, I feel better now. I'm going in tomorrow with a smile on my face and find a way to change things!

Ah... the life of working in HR. Up until the end of June we were hiring temporary ee's. All I got was complaints about the poor quality of recruits. They were all no good. We did our quarterly rankings and will be preparing to layoff starting next month. Well.... some of these temps are ranked considerably higher than some of the full time ee's, so I suggested we make the temps full time, like right now! Keep the best performers when the layoff starts. More complaints and footdragging.
