I too was surprised at the judges comments about Katherine, but they are getting tougher as we near the end. I think they just expected more out of Katherine. Chris received good comments, probably because love songs is not his perceived strength so no one expected him to do as well as he did. Same with Elliot, he has shown tremendous improvement. Katherine is kind of stuck on the same plateau.

Kelly was my favorite, but after bombing 2 weeks in a row, she needs to go. It will be either her or Paris leaving this week. But, Taylor did much poorer than expected and he may be gone.

I have been woefully unimpressed with all the contestants this year. I find the "behind the scenes" shots of them with the entertainers to be hte most entertaining part of the show. Rod Stewart could hardly keep his eyes in his head when faced with Kelly Pickler! And David Foster was really hard on them, which I found quite amusing.

Please, I hope America sends Kelly home. But if not, I'm going to say it's because we like to be entertained by idiocy.

Yep, Foster made Simon seem rather tame. But, it's a tough business and that's how it works.

Mcfever was great!!! Her singing wasn't bad either. Unless the "Vote For the Worst" website comes to her rescue, Kelly is going.

yup, Kelly was sent home. Funny how the judges razed McFever and she was one of the top vote getters! I think they do that on purpose. The producers know who they want to win and will play out the soap opera until the very end. And it is just me or is Paula completely drunk by the end of each show??
