Al Gore's New TV Network

I was hoping this was some sort of joke, however, after reading an article on CNN.com, it appears legitimate.

It seems Al Gore, the man who brought us the internet, has launched a new technological advance. He was quoted as saying that "we want to be the television home page for the Internet generation."

I'm sure we have hours of quality programming to look forward to. I can see it now, the Jackson-Sharpton News Hour. Thank God for parental controls.

It's virgin run today showed a 30 something guy walking around in a basketball jersey looking at sneakers for about 15 minutes. Hmmm. It's geared toward the 21-35 generation. No need to work, just saunter around in an athletic shirt and pick our sneakers. Surely it will move on to relevant things like Baskin-Robbins flavors and ribbed condoms.
