I spent 5-6 hours about 3 years ago browsing at the sale. As with all "Yard / Garage" sales, other than the crafty things or antiques, mostly junk. However, I keep getting reminded by the females in my family that one man's junk is another man's treasure.
I live in Florence, KY. Since I don't know where you are in OH or even whereall 127 runs, I can tell you only that closest from Cincinnati is Covington. You can pick up 127 there and it runs parallel with US 42 for many many miles.
I'll be going. I love this yardsale. I think I made it 5 miles in 1 day last year!
This is interesting. Do you pull your car along from one house to the next, or park on the highway, or can you walk from one home to another? Sounds like a great opportunity for a fatality too.

LAST EDITED ON 07-27-05 AT 03:43PM (CST)[br][br]Actually it is alot of fun! My sister owns an antique shop in Lawrenceburg, KY and she lets vendors set up on her property to sell. Usually I have to stand in the parking lot to direct people in and out!
It makes for a long day, but it is so much fun! You meet people from all over. Last year there was a guy from California who came through!
You do have to be prepared for the traffic though. Just watch where you are going and be careful.
This year I'm going to check license plates to see where people are from.
Not familiar with a 'boomerang' antenna. We call them 'whip antennas', or a more correct dialect would be 'whup antenna'. Also notice the running boards made out of shelacked two by fours.

Don't forget the 2x2 door-magnet sign reading, "Official S.A.V.E. Consulting Vehicle". I'm gonna get you. Every one of you. I take names and have a memory.
I was under the impression that the official S.A.V.E. vehicle was actually a replica of the 1959 ambulance used in Ghostbusters. I had no idea a second vehicle had been comissioned.
I heard that the official vehicle was a John Deere MS1266. That's the only product that John Deere won't stand behind!!!!! It has a capacity of over 175 bushels of manure.

I'm hoping I'll lose a few pounds also! x:D
