I've been just a tad melancholy, having turned 50 in January. Anyhow, Saturday night we go to a Diamondbacks ball game...and I got CARDED! x:7

It was a trip...I didn't think I heard right at first. Asked her to repeat herself and she did! It was funny when she looked at my license. I've always been told I look younger than my age, but my goodness, this is a little over the top! It's nice that at least one person on the face of this earth thinks I look 30 or under - unfortunately it's a female who works at a concession stand at Bank One Ballpark. Ah well, can't have everything.

PS - as a side note, we affectionately refer to the park as BOB. Now that Chase has bought Bank One, they will be changing the name. What will it be? COB?

You go, Leslie! :DD And just ignore Don. That's the same thing my BF says when I (at 53) get carded and he (6 mos. my junior) doesn't.
