Any Dennis Leary fans out there? On his show "Rescue Me" last night, all the firemen and women went to sensitivity training. It was both pitiful and hilarious....

The already integrated fire department ate him alive.

It really struck me that all the people in the room except the female fire fighter and the sensitivity trainer were absolutely comfortable trading what we call ethnic slurs.

Does that mean we can only trade insults when we feel equal to the others....

I love this show for its perceptive takes on our society....

Lisa, are you sure we haven't met? Anyway, Dennis Leary is one of my favorites. The movie, "The Ref", is a masterpiece.

I'm sure...the only Larry I remember meeting isn't from MN.

I am going to the Las Vegas HR Hero seminar in November....I'm hoping to meet at least some of the characters from this weird world there....

When is this show on? What channel? Never heard of it and it sounds entertaining.

Its on cable, the FX channel, Tuesdays at 9:00 in the midwest.

Just a word of caution, this show is for mature audiences only, don't watch it if you are easily shocked or offended x:o

I've never heard of this show either. But I can't watch it. Partly because we don't get that station but mainly because I'm asleep at 9:00 (and back up at 2:00). And I'm easily offended too.
