Did you know it is No Pants Day?! I wonder if the timing has any significance to Cinqo de Mayo (SP?) Is it because everyone wakes up with no pants?

And I thought every day was No Pants Day! (Sorry smoll)

Cinco and that means five, not "no", "pants" or "day". I don't know what the soldiers were wearing at the famous battle that our New Hampshire friend described, but I hope that it wasn't a "no pants day".

Well, G, one must think about this, especially in light of the one paragraph in the article I posted that said...and I quote...

"Under the command of Texas-born General Zaragosa, (and the cavalry under the command of Colonel Porfirio Diaz, later to be Mexico's president and dictator), the Mexicans awaited. Brightly dressed French Dragoons led the enemy columns. The Mexican Army was less stylish."

Maybe "less stylish" meant with no pants. :-?

Could be - and when the Mexican's charged, dressed in uniform tops, the French ran in the other direction.

Any Dragoon worth his salt was mounted (as in riding a horse TN HR) and would not have been running. However, if they were brightly dressed frenchmen, they might like the idea of no pants day.

Well, golly gee, if I had known this was 'No Pants Day' I would have dressed differently. I would really like a "No Shoes Day" course every day is essentially no shoes for me because as soon as I sit at my desk off come the shoes. But I'm up for celebrating anything so Happy No Pants Day! gimme a Zima!
