False Alarm Sends Bush To Shelter

[font size="1" color="#FF0000"]LAST EDITED ON 04-27-05 AT 02:56PM (CST)[/font][br][br]I read an earlier news report that an unidentified aircraft had entered restricted space near the White House. Apparently this caused the President to be moved to an underground shelter.

The scare lasted only a few minutes before officials determined it was a false alarm.

Bush, who was working in the Oval Office at the time, was taken to the underground bunker. He was there a very short amount of time.

Security officers toting shotguns took up positions around the White House compound during the incident.

Can someone please reassure me that our Secret Service, whom is charged with protecting the leader of our great nation, had better defenses in place than shotguns to protect against the possibility of a friggin aircraft attacking the White House.........................

Well, y'know you gotta work with what you have... kinda like troops welding scrap metal to the bottoms of their Humvees - maybe all the SS could scare up were a few shotguns - maybe a .22 caliber target pistol or two, slingshots,... x;-)

Or, as an alternative, they could have dragged all of pOrK's correspondence to the President regarding illegals onto the roof, lit it on fire and created a giant smoke screen.

Youknow, I saw some of those clips on the news last night, and they did'nt look like any shotgun I ever used!
