For those of you who might be going for an interview or have a friend who is, Careerbuilder.com has a list of suggestions. Here are just two of them. Then there was the man who wore a madras tie for a belt.

2. Sunglasses on top of your head or headphones around your neck: Be sure to remove all your "transit gear" and tuck it in your briefcase before entering the lobby.

20. Telltale signs that you're wearing a new suit. Remove all tags and extra buttons -- and remember to cut off the zigzag thread that keeps pockets and slits closed!

Heck Don, I've got a couple of jackets - at least 25 years old - with the pockets still sewn shut. My better half says "As soon as you put your hands in them they never lie flat again.." so...

Yes, I heard the same rumor. Apparently he and Pork were seen at the MS State SHRM Conference wearing leisure suits and doing their best John Travolta Saturday Night Fever rendition.

Ray: I might as well tell you, since you'll find out anyway. The way I got my job was red briefs under a white, silk leisure suit. Things have changed. Today, that combo would get me a job as a runway model.

I once thought I was moving to TX with my family so I was given the chore to interview for my replacement. The talent tank must have been seriously low those days as everyone they sent me was horrifically dressed. I mean...one came in with too tight stretch pants with a stain on the backside plus a pullover sweatshirt and another wore a suit that would fit her young daughter.

The most concerning thing to me is that Don is posting at 3:55 AM. Geez Don, get some rest man. Also, I wasn't aware the zigzag thread was supposed to be removed. You always learn on this site.
