I was reading elsewhere about concerns in Germany and their legalized prostitution. The state job service must post and solicit for brothels who are recruiting new ee's to fill openings in their labor force just as they would any other industry. And there are concerns that women who are qualified for prostitution positions will be required to accept job offers from brothels or lose their UI. Hasn't happened yet, but the possibility exists and it is being debated in the European press. Women forced into prostitution by the state.

In Germany if you are offered any job and turn it down, you are immediately pulled off the unemployment rolls. So, a young woman goes to a brothel where they were hiring for a waitress. Instead, she is offered a job as a prostitute. She turns it down, the unemployment office is notified and she is immediately cut off from her unemployment check. Huh.

The German job service is required to *service* brothel's employment needs - that is a fact. The part about women losing UI if they turn down a job as a prostitute is speculation at this point. The press is saying the possibility exists and they are waiting for the first case.
Shouldn't there be a 'for which you are qualified' statement? Maybe they qualify for a waitress position but not a prostitute position. Is there a religious protection class in Germany? How about 'consciencous objector'? Oh, that's something else.

I didn't read the guide, because it says at the top that there's sexually explicit material. : )
