ZIP FILES

Can somebody tell me how to use Winzip. I've paid for it and installed it because my isp would not send photos over a certain size (just a normal photo). So, I have the photos and I have winzip. But, how do I get the thing to function? Thanks.

When my IT person gets in, I'll ask. Later.

As for using it, I'm assuming you want to send a zipped file, since receiving one is as simple as double clicking on it within an email.
Once you have it installed, the easiest way I have found to add files into a zipped package is to go to windows explorer and navigate to the photos you want to zip up. Right click on the photo file and you should see a drop down menu that includes "add to zip." (If you don't see this, winzip has not installed correctly.) Choose that option and it will open up your winzip program. You should immediately name your winzip file and choose where you want it saved. After that, you can import files (photos) into your zip archive just like you open a document in word (same menu hierarchy)...
Hope that helps.

By the way, Pricehcs, thanks for your INTELLIGENT answer to a friend in distress. I know where to look for life preservers. x:-)
