Which one is true? Part II

Three of these four things really happened, just recently. Are you cynical enough to figure out the made-up story?
(a) A high school principal in Boston was admonished by the school board for trying to shut down football practice as violating the school's new "zero tolerance" rule for violence.
(b) Hong Kong's mainstream press reported that a lonely widower in Beijing was found to have, as "pets," 200,000 cockroaches in his home.
(c) A 17-year-old boy in New Haven, Conn., arranged for a friend to shoot him in the leg, later explaining that he didn't want to be sent to Iraq and thus was scheming to avoid the "draft."
(d) A 47-year-old woman in Lumberton, N.C., was charged with animal cruelty for giving pap smears to her Boston terrier.
#1 thing a consultant shouldn't say: "I could tell you the answer right now, but we're committed to a three month project..." #-o

But, since there's no draft, I have to go with the New Haven kid who gets his friend to shoot him in the leg. That's about as hare-brained a stunt as you can pull - right up there with putting a can of beer on your head and getting your buddy to shoot it off with an arrow. x;-)
Beagle...so tell us, did your friend miss the beer can on top of your head when he shot an arrow at it?
I know someone who actually pulled C back in the late 60's, but again, no draft now, although some people are just plain dumb.
I really hope D is the false one, although it reminds me of a funny story involving my dog, a skunk, my brother and a vinegar and water "feminine cleansing" product.
Ugh!
I pick c. But with New Haven, ya never know.
I know from personal experience, the pet cockroaches will clean up your kitchen at night - at least that's the story my old roommate in KC used to tell me when it was his turn to clean up after dinner. Yech!
I go with "a." Hard to believe rad wouldn't have heard about it if that had actually happened in Boston.
But I am truly hoping I missed the story and that D is the false one! I had my dog for 16 years and as she got older she had lots of hoochie infections as she became incontinent. I spent a fortune on antibiotics and had to wash her like a baby. But if my vet suggested such a thing I would have grabbed her up and ran like h*ll out of the clinic!
Trust the wisdom of our Boston resident
(A) did not happen.

I sure do like the sound of that! xB-)
