Tragedy in the world of cooking

Julia Child has died at 91 years of age. She was a great lady. She lived Cambridge, the next town over. My Mom has lived there for well over twenty years but I never had the privilige of meeting Mrs. Child. I have watched her show for years and my loved ones have benefited from what I learned from her.
Sad day.

I agree that her passing is a sad thing, but I can't help but think of the skit Dan Ackroyd did about her on SNL. Absolutely hilarious. I heard once upon a time that she found it funny as well - seems like she had a good sense of humor.
