Morris (an 82 year-old man) went to the doctor to get a physical. A few days later the doctor saw Morris walking down the street with a gorgeous young lady on his arm.

A couple of days later the doctor spoke to Morris and said, "You're really doing great, aren't you?"

Morris replied, "Just doing what you said, Doc: 'Get a hot mamma and be cheerful.'"

Thats great, Dan. My grandfather had hearing loss and refused to wear a hearing aid. Some of the things he mis-heard have made family story-telling history.

Speaking of wives, Marc, that sounds a lot like the conversations between my wife and me. Sometimes being hard of hearing has it advantages.

This brings to mind something that recently happened in our household. I reminded my husband to take his meds. He heard....make the beds. Then proceeded to strip the beds and made them up with fresh sheets.

Works for me. x:-)
