It's too beautiful

Just got back from lunch where it was sunny and beautiful (finally) and nearly 70 degrees. :DD

But now I have to be at work for the next 2 1/2 hours. x:'(

Here too!!!! After what seems like MONTHS of cold, wet, windy, dark weather...the sun is so welcome!!!!

Thankfully, the weekend should continue to be nice!!

Its still a bit chilly here, its supposed to get nice and warm Monday, just in time to make it miserable for the Marathon runners!

Celebrated Friday's sunny 80 degrees by going to Wal-Mart and spending $250 on hanging baskets and annual flowers, potting soil and pots. Spent the afternoon sprucing up the employee's back patio and trying to make it more cheerful. They work 10 hour days, 6 days a week and every little bit helps. Might spring for hot dogs today (Sat.).x:D

Finally went fishing yesterday. I caught the first fish of the season! I have not held that honor in a long time. Caught a couple of bass, perch and a pickerel. It was, indeed, too beautiful!

Wow, it's just spectacular today (unless you're running in the Boston Marathon). I plan to walk along along the waterfront at lunch.

You're right, I was out at lunch and all I wanted to do was lounge on a beach chair, nothing about today says "run".

My sweet husband talked me into helping him move 3 pallets of retaining wall stone yesterday. We had to unload the pallets by hand, one stone at a time. ...Almost 3 tons. It's been a long time since I've done that kind of mindless, backbreaking work. I'm actually happy to be in the office on this sunny Monday!

Went up to 7700 ft this weekend, rode four-wheelers and FROZE! Heard it was beautiful down in the Valley of the Sun. Figures /:)

We spent both days of last weekend at some urban fishing lakes. Husband attempted to teach the boys to fish while the boys threw hundreds of little rocks into the water and stale bread to the ducks. No fish were caught but the weather was gorgeous, Leslie. x:)
