23. When you go to buy bread in the grocery store, have you ever wondered which is the freshest, so you "squeeze" for freshness or softness? Did you know that bread is delivered fresh to the stores five days a week? Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday. Each day has a different color twist tie. They are: Monday = Blue, Tuesday = Green, Thursday = Red, Friday = White and Saturday = Yellow. So if today was Thursday, you would want red twist tie; not white which is Fridays (almost a week old)! The colors go alphabetically by color Blue- Green - Red - White - Yellow, Monday through Saturday. Very easy to remember. I thought this was interesting. I looked in the grocery store and the bread wrappers DO have different twist ties, and even the ones with the plastic clips have different colors. You learn something new everyday! Enjoy fresh bread when you buy bread with the right color on the day you are shopping

No amount of corn starch will help me "slide on" doll clothes... x;-)
Did anybody notice that neither duct tape nor WD-40 are included in this list?
I'll bet WD-40 cleans up all the Pam, cornstarch, peanut butter, vinegar, Listerine, Colgate, Karo syrup and Coca Cola stains you are stuck with from using the methods described above. I use it to get Hot Wheels cars unstuck from my VCR. x:D
Really cool tip for guys: Your bathroom mirror will not fog if you apply shaving cream to it (the regular kind of shaving foam - not the gel type). Rub it in until it disappears. No amount of steam from the shower will fog your mirror (who says you don't learn useful stuff in the military?)x;-)
It's a sticky situation. x:D
Lisa
I will try that tonight. I am tired of stepping on it.
