Nelson Rockefeller and Ralph Nader both have an Edsel. Speaking of liberal politics, have you heard Sharpton's recorded rendition of Three Dog Night's "Momma Told Me Not To Run".
The thread is hopelessly lost. I think I'll have Shadowfax call order.
I'll take that Vette...speaking of which, am I only person who voted in the primary?!?! I mean, there has to be more than one Democrat in seven states. I might be the only one in AZ - and it sure seems like it as I appear to be the only person wearing an "I voted today" sticker - but there has to be more out there!
Maybe your office is just apolitical, Leslie. My dilemma is a little different from yours: I'm a democrat, but there is no one on the slate that I want to vote for. Fortunately our primary isn't until May so I have time to decide whether or not I even want to vote in it.
But you are to be congratulated for exercising your franchise and voting! I, too, am surprised there aren't more Forumites out here discussing politics.
Only a few of you are struggling with your identity crisis. The rest of us are just sitting here waiting for the Republican primary. Leslie, you will be better served down at Joe's bar and grill. Ask him for the 'crying towel special' and tell him to send me the tab.
I seem to remember an "old" country song, in fact it is so old that it may have been called a country/western song, that is titled: "I've got tears in my ears, from lying on my back crying over you." You know what they sey, "If the shoe fits, you didn't buy it at Wal-Mart." Have a great day, Dutch2
Having a feeling that by the time of the NY primary, it won't matter. But, I'll vote. My mother contends that the last time she voted for presidential candidate because they were clearly the best choice as versus because they were the lesser of two evils was when she voted for Adlai Stevenson. For the record, NYC is a very heavily democratic city (we have to be inorder to correct the misvotes from upstate).

What will you do with the candidate (usually a judge) who is on the voting machines in the Democratic, Republican, Liberal, Conservative, Green, Libertarian etc. lines?
