I've never been the sharpest tool in the shed when it comes to labor relations and certainly don't know all the ins and outs of dealing with unions. But for the life of me I can't think of an employer who would be so patently STUPID as to do what this one did, as reported in the Oregon Employment Law Letter (hope I'm not violating any copyrights by quoting M. Lee Smith's publication on their own website):-S
"The National Labor Relations Board (NLRB) recently held that a company official's attempt to hit union organizers with his vehicle interfered with their right to solicit employees."
Gee -- ya THINK?
Say what you want about those NLRB guys, they can sure spot intereference with protected activity, now, can't they? x;-)
Should also point out that this occurred in California.

The NLRB only has jurisdiction over certain things; in this case interfering with a group's right to solicit or represent.
