Heavy confessions

I thought Mwild's confession thread was going to be about weight gain. It wasn't, so mine is. OK, 'fess up. How many gained a few pounds during the holiday? I have to admit to tipping the scales by three extra pounds this morning.

Sounds like you should have done some more shopping on Friday to burn off those carbs! x:D
Just think of it as your body storing insulation for the cold winter.
I was up about 2 pounds today, I just can't resist all the stuffing and pie!

We carbed out and I haven't gotten on the scale--but I'm sure that I did gain some! We'll get back on the wagon for the next few weeks and then enjoy Xmas and New Year's...then back on the wagon!

I just can't resist eating the stuff that so many people took so much time to make....

I actually lost three pounds and pigged out greatly for five days! Went for several long, tough, trecherous walks in the hilly woods. Started out in a coat but finished in a T-shirt all three times. There's something about a real long trec through the woods that seems to do more for the psyche than a trip to the mall. The animals you encounter are much kinder also.

I just refuse to step on a scale, they should be outlawed. My clothes don't feel any tighter so I guess I'm ok.

I dropped 2 pounds, but the cost was high. No stuffing, mashed potatoes, gravy, or sweet potatoes. NO PUMPKIN PIE WITH WHIPPED CREAM, (can you tell it is my personal favorite?). I am glad now, but at the time, it was difficult. Several shots of tequila helped ease the pain.

I didn't gain any weight - in fact, I lost some. I love Thanksgiving and all of the fixings, but once the day's over, it's over for me - other than leftover turkey. I munched on turkey the rest of the weekend - YUM!

Up by 2 pounds - I also have a weakness for pie.

I lost a few. Like Mwild, once the pig-out day is over, its over. I'm not sure why but I am at my lowest weight of the year around holiday time, I tend to put on a few pounds in the spring.

The day after Thanksgiving, I went to the gym and worked out for about 2 hours. I didn't gain or lose at all. I know that last year we posted some new years resolutions, has anyone completed their resolution? Does anyone have any good resolutions for this year?
