We have an annual "Harvest Party" for our clients and residents, and the staff always dresses up for it. Since there is a particular director who I am not too fond of, nor is she very fond of me, I have decided to go as the devil, since she already thinks I am THE devil. Everyone in our office thinks it is hilarious...we all hate her, so being a smarta** will be fun.
That's a good idea, Margaret. We used to have an ee who would choose a "victim" every year to dress up as. He was very good at it, too. One year, he chose me. That was back when I wore suspenders - they were in style. He had studied me so closely he even had my walk and motions down. He grew a beard just for the ocassion then shaved it into a van dyke the night before. People thought he was more like me than I was like myself. Every year people would wonder who was next. Great morale booster.
We have had a costume contest for the past few years, but this year is the first time I'm going to dress up. I inherited some new duties this year, one being organizing the on-site random drug screen. I wanted to incorporate that into my costume, and was inspired by the old Fractured Fairy Tales from Bullwinkle. I have a princess costume and a specimen bottle that I will fill with apple juice. I will be "The Princess and the Pee." Hopefully I'll win something.
