Although I don't have my HR Hero t-shirt (the check is in the mail, James), I humbly submit the following as my addition to the Forum Rogue's Gallery of Questionable HR Guys. Credit (or blame) James for the web-based magical ministrations that made this possible. Add a moustache and a little more hair and voila.

I see the patch that says "Commander Cody And The Lost Planet Airmen". What's up with that? I am going right now and look up Ray's picture. I am afraid that you two look somewhat alike. Why are you saying to add a moustauche and more hair? Does that mean this picture is 15 years old?

Kidding aside; I'm going to send a copy of your picture to my brother in Germany. He's retired Air Force (Lt. Col). I'm gonna tell him this is a guy I hang around with. That way my brother will like me. He will be very impressed. His wife told him not to have anything to do with me.

If y'all will recall, I mentioned the day that Ray posted his picture that we looked alike. And you have to add hair and a moustache to get my current look because this picture was taken a couple of years ago when I retired. Started growing my moustache the day after this picture was taken.

Or, maybe I'm just full of it and pulling everybody's chain, and maybe Ray and I are really the same person. x;-)

Or maybe we are from different time warps. Beagle has a moustache, I have a van dyke minus the moustache. Beagle has a receding hair line, I don't (or at least I can cover it up better). I do have a pair of glasses exactly like his I use for reading music. He was in the military, I avoided VietNam so stayed away from the military. He lives on the west coast, I'm on the east coast. We are alter-egos. Between us, we make up one person. This is getting spooky.

Yeah. That's it. Parallel universes, time warps. Kind of like that Star Trek episode with the evil Mr. Spock and the good Mr. Spock. However, I should point out that it was the evil Mr. Spock with the van dyke... so does that make Ray the evil one and me the good one? x;-)

I LOVE having a face to go with the name! Your smile fits your sense of humor. I would have been extremely disappointed if your picture was a typical serious military one.

This man would have been a multi-millionnaire if only Hollywood had put him in the M*A*S*H series. I can picture him in Harry Morgan's place, or Alan Alda's or Radar O'reily or even that cross-dressing Italian guy; Instead of winding up in an obscure HR closet somewhere West of Pocatello. But, when he ducks into a phone booth and rips off that Air Force jacket and the whole world sees that HR HERO shirt, all hell breaks loose! 8-|

Madam, that is NOT a common "black leather jacket;" it is a brown, goatskin, Air Force issue A-2 pilot's jacket with appropriate insignia.
