Bubba and Jimmy Joe

One day, Jimmy Joe was walking down Main Street, in Sebastian, when he saw his buddy, Bubba, driving a brand new pickup.

Bubba pulled up to him with a big- wide, toothless grin.

"Hey, Bubba, where'd you get that new truck?!?"

"Bobby Sue gave it to me" Bubba replied.

"She gave it to you??.... I knew she was kinda sweet on ya, but a new truck?"

"Well, Jimmy Joe, let me tell you what happened.

We were driving out on County Road 512, out past Fellsmere, when Bobby Sue pulled off the road. She put the truck in 4-wheel drive, and headed into the woods.

She parked the truck, got out, threw off all her clothes, and said, 'Bubba, take whatever you want'.

"So, I took the truck!"

"Bubba, you're a smart man!.

Them clothes woulda never fit you!"

The southern boys MUST be smart, because they kept this Yankee scratching his head for the past three days. Cab ride into town all I heard about was Alabama football (go red tide - uh, Crimson tide) and I could only understand about half of what he was saying to me. Cab ride to the airport I was understanding a little more but still had to just nod a lot and smile. x;-)

Must have been an ebb Crimson Tide this past weekend. If I remember correctly...Oklahoma beat them in the closing minutes of the game.
