Congratulations. Becoming a grandparent can be very exciting. My one and only granddaughter is turning 1 year old next week. She just starting walking this past week - growing very quickly. The only problem, she is in Arizona and I'm in NY, but we will be visiting them in 2 weeks. Can't wait.

How exciting! I have three grandkids - Tyler, age 7, is just starting first grade. Melanie will be 3 in November, and Avery was 1 in May. Tyler started out calling me and my spouse Granny and Grumpy. Melanie has followed suit, although her pronunciation still isn't quite up to snuff - she calls my spouse "Bumpy".

We're building such great memories with these little ones - hope you'll be able to be really involved as well. These times are precious!
