I wish I had read this yesterday! My daughter was telling everyone goodnight last night and she was very confused when I said Goodnight Jim-Bob. It was bad enough I felt old having to explain to her about the Waltons, but then I couldn't remember any names other than John-Boy and Jim-Bob. Tonight I plan to recite the list for her....

I don't know your daughter's age; but you may want to rethink the wisdom of reciting those names when she says goodnight. It would be my luck she'd tell her teacher and class tomorrow, "Last night I heard my mom telling 5 men goodnight".
